DENNIS WALTERS has been with Royal Pools since 1974. With experience like this, Dennis can resolve potential problems in the early planning stages, to make sure that you end up with the pool design that best accommodates your particular needs. One of his more endearing traits is his no nonsense, direct approach to communicating the possibilities and choices available to customers who are undecided.
His custom designs range from awesomely rectangular to spectacularly kidney-shaped, always giving his customers the benefit of his expert creative ingenuity.
You can find Dennis at the office over the weekends where he spends much of his time greeting potential clients who venture into our display on Camden Avenue in San Jose . If they can attract his attention away from the golf match on TV, he will walk them around the display pool while articulating the finer points of design and construction.
DANNY BALCAZAR a native of San Jose can usually be found in and around our office on Camden Avenue. Dan has experience in all phases of the industry, from field supervisor and troubleshooting, to sales, design, and customer service. You can be sure that after your meeting with Dan, you’ll be left with a creative pool design, a fair competitive price, and a smile on your face.
BOB TORGERSON is a resident of Gilroy and services the South Bay counties for Royal Pools. He has been designing pools at Royal for 19 years. Naturally amiable, Bob has been known to spend days at a customer's house going over and over the pool specifications and design features he creates, until they are exactly right.
Bob is a diligent worker who has kept the creative flavor of pool design, coupled with customer service and practicality, in serving his friends and neighbors when it comes to the purchase of a new swimming pool. Always easy to approach and quick to offer a friendly suggestion, you may tap into his expertise and vast swimming pool knowledge to create the backyard experience you and your family are searching for.
Rex Reed, our resident free spirit, as an estimator has a great eye when it comes to design. Rex earned his BA in Architecture from USC and still needs a haircut. But Rex is cool and he’s been around the block when it comes to construction. Rex has been remodeling homes for 20 years, and in doing so has completed some pretty unusual projects, all of them done with his characteristic zeal for excellence. He’s never in a hurry and his laid-back nature is really easy to get along with.
Mitchell Baker, our newest salesman is certainly not
new to the swimming pool industry and has been designing award winning waterscapes and landscapes for a decade. Like his boss Bill, Mitchell comes from a “pool family.” Mitchell brings with him the energy of
youth and the excitement of a new generation of ideas.
He also brings ferver for the latest gadgets and in his efforts to involve his clients in an interactive approach to design, Mitchell utilizes 3-D imaging software, keen observation and the creative process to produce a personalized and unique waterscape for each family he has the pleasure to work with.
Brian Velzy , our general manager, is a key player in the smooth operation and success of Royal Pools. Brian has his own C-53 Pool Contractors License and can resolve just about any situation. Brian is a very early riser and can be caught at the San Jose office as early as 5:30 am .
